Samurai
Onna-Bugeisha refers to the female samurai who fought in feudal Japan. These noblewomen, known for their strength, determination, and courage, were highly skilled in combat and tasked with protecting their families, homes, and honour in times of war. Here is an image of a fighter, gracefully in motion. The blue-green of the robe symbolizes a desire to win with integrity, and the yellow sash represents groundedness and connection to earth. This is dedicated to all women who are discovering their resiliency in the face of challenge and finding the warrior within.
